Havoc
Havoc was a Terraria mod that began development in Summer 2020 following its founding by Thanatos. Recruitment for the project was carried out through a post on Reddit that caught the attention of the first few Havoc members, most notably, Lordimass, Finemine, and Lemon. Lordimass has stated that he responded "literally just because [he] was bored", little did he know, that boredom led him to be part of something much bigger. He also stated that he'd "like to add that [he] had no experience in pixel art, or art in general, [he] just randomly decided [he] wanted to try it out".
Schmeck's Canon
"Before the arrival of the Bloody Cultist and his loyal followers the world of Terraria existed in peace. One fateful day, the day we now refer to as The Great Slaughter, the Bloody Cultist and his followers set foot on the land. He was welcomed by the terrarians with open arms, but how this foolish mistake would cost them. Within minutes of his arrival the slaughter started. That moment was when the 5 Great Leviathans were called. Sharëq The Beetle Leviathan of the Desert was first to arrive, followed swiftly by Kelfer the Golem Leviathan of the Glacier and Grio the Serpent Leviathan of the Ocean. Next was Riof the Bat Leviathan of the Jungle. The last to arrive was Thordan the Owl Leviathan of the Forest. The battle was a harsh one, blood was spilled, limbs were torn apart, only empowering the cultist with every tear of the skin. Even the leviathans were no match for the cultist. In one last ditch effort to save the world from further destruction, Thordan challenged the bloody cultist to a duel. The conditions: If Thordan won, the cultist left. If the cultist won he got control of Terraria. And oh how Thordan under estimated the Cultist's power. The battle went on for hours. But in the end The cultist was pinned down. In his so-called 'last act' the cultist unleashed half of his life force, destroying his body to a further extent than he already had. In doing so he sent Thordan insane, causing him to destroy all of his body apart from his head only due to the fact he could not tear it apart. He was left exhausted and dwelled in the underworld for hundreds of years. Until now.....” - 6th October 2020
“The Bloody Cultist, a tyrannical being that some say is the child of a god, is the most powerful being that is known. He was born into a cult that worshipped the blood god ___, a god who once walked the earth in search of ill influenced followers to grow his power. He was taken down by the light god Theara and banished to the dungeons of hell, guarded by The Abomination. The cult of the blood god could tell of the Bloody Cultist's powers from merely the way dark magic flowed in his blood, uninterrupted and pure. His power still had further to go and as he trained it grew so rapidly it took over his mind and body to the point of killing the other members of the cult. Only you are able to challenge him now, but be wary for after your duel his power will grow.” - 2nd January 2021
