About
JackSpade is a Reformation member from the South of England. Also referred to by his real life name of "Riley", he is an actor, writer, and creative director for some key Reformation stories, primarily relating to Reformation MC (The Monarch's Game) and Reformation D&D. Riley joined the community since 7th March 2023 when he was invited by Lordimass to join that year's Minecraft server. Over time his time with Reformation, he has played a role in expanding the member count of the Minecraft server, introducing key members to D&D, and more generally, has been an active member within the community. This culminated in his role as an official streamer in the fifth annual 24-hour Live stream organised by Reformation Fundraising.
Characters
Riley has a strong love for theatrics and acting as well as storytelling. His most notable creation among groups of D&D players is his portrayal and writing of, Jack Spade. The character of Jack Spade was a turning point for Riley, as it became an outlet for lots of emotion and a way for Riley to play a more exaggerated version of himself while writing detailed backstories, and getting back into creative writing and poetry.
Running parallel to the creation of Jack Spade, he created several more characters and fictional works, such as Jack Buchanan, Ozzy Vernardos, Squiggles the Duck, and The House. He also went on to write several poems, stories, backstories, and adventures.
Influence on Minecraft
When Riley joined Reformation MC in 2023, he was able to somewhat rejuvenate the server with the creation of The Monarch's Game. This gave himself and other members of the server a chance to fight for the right to rule over the server. This game was supported by most but also received some backlash following some poorly defined rules. The Monarch's Game lasted around a month within the first Reformation MC server, followed by a spin-off server designed to try and encapsulate the original idea which ended up being taken down relatively quickly due to inactivity. The most recent iteration of the game was with the creation of the Monarch's District within the latest season of Reformation MC.
In this most recent iteration of the server, Riley has been more dedicated to establishing his own part of the community by creating his own plotlines and stories for many people to partake in. He was also recently given a promotion to server operator along with the role of Community Manager in an attempt to ensure that more people's voices were able are heard on the server, help solve problems, whitelisting privileges, and server documentation, such as lore books.
D&D Experience
Riley began playing D&D with Edweird in 2021, after being invited to an online game. This set Riley on a long path of D&D adventures with multiple different groups, portraying several different characters, and experimenting with being a game mastering himself. Over this time, he has grown the characters to become larger than life, in particular with the lore and stories of Jack Spade across multiple D&D Campaigns, but also with the tales of Captain Buchanan, Squiggles the Duck, Ozzy Verardos and others.
Riley and Edweird have not stopped at creating just characters, but have also gone on towards creating an entire connected universe revolving around their interpretations of the feyrealms, Shadowfell, as well as their own connected lore surrounding recurring organisations through many different stories, and timelines such as The House and Seelie Courts.
Reformation Fundraising Streamer
Riley joined the Reformation community a short time after Reformation Fundraising's fourth stream to join the Reformation MC server. Because of this, he hadn't had the opportunity to join in with the live stream that year since he didn't know Lordimass that well at the time. When the fifth stream came around the following year, he signed up and registered to take part as a streamer. He helped by spreading the news of it around his college via word of mouth, which was particularly useful given that most of the current Reformation Members were and helping to plan a segment within the stream by bringing in his friend and Dungeon Master, Edweird.
Unfortunately, on the day of the stream, Riley overslept for the first two hours causing him to be late, and only stream for 22 of the 24 hours. However, he remained on the stream for the entirety of the remaining 22 hours, playing the brand new Minecraft server, bringing new people towards the stream and server, and entertaining his own audience to help out towards the donation goal in any little way he could. He also stuck to a pledge he made early on in the planning stages, by donating £3 to charity for every time he swore on the stream, totalling £33 additional towards the charity.
Riley has gone on the record to state: "Should the opportunity come around again, I would love to stream again for charity. It was so amazing to spend that long with the friends I have and to help raise money for a cause I truly believed in. Even if it is through swearing."

A. "I don't have a single one really. Its got to be the Jack Spade Colour Pallete. Navy Blue, crimson red, Silver, Gold and Green. If I had to pick one though, its Navy"
Q. What are your favourite food and drink?
A. "Well for food for a meal, it has to be cheesy chips. For snack, I have to rock with a Marvellous Creations Dairy Milk Chocolate bar. For drink, its either IRN BRU or Pepsi Max Cherry"

A. "Surely it has to be a block of emeralds. Diamonds show your too good at the game. Emerald blocks show you invest in the future economy!"

A. "Probably a Duck. I like dragons cus they are mythical, but ducks are just down to earth."
